Seven months ago, I was confined to a wheelchair and spent thirteen weeks in a hospital bed. Many hands help me on my road to recovery and I am blessed for the kindness, compassion, and skill of these hands. The hands of one individual help me with flexibility and proper muscle function to aid the one muscle in my leg that suffered damage along with the associated nerve.

I called for an appointment at Body Remedy, Pinecrest because it was recommended to me by members of Pinecrest Physical Therapy at the Hilton Dadeland location. My recovery is aided by massage therapist, Michael Parkinson, who on my first day assisted me in the wheelchair and did everything possible to safely help me transfer to the massage table. Today Mr. Parkinson assists me after therapeutic massage by holding out his hands to guide me while I WALK. My journey is a challenge and thanks in part to Body Remedy and Michael Parkinson, this journey will be gratifying. Thank you.”

I’ve been using Body Remedy for 13-14 years now. As a long distance runner, 12x marathoner, and Boston Marathoner as well, there’s no way I can get to the start line at my best without the magic touch of the hands at Body Remedy. All of the therapists are great! Highly highly recommend!! Note: my massages are NOT the “relax and take a nap” kind of massages. When I go there it’s because my body needs WORK! If you’re looking for deep tissue sports massage, this is where to go!!
